On December 1, 2, and 3, 2008, you are invited to be part of the most enjoyable, God pleasing, Christian event in the country. With over a dozen southern gospel groups and soloists, state of the art sound, dazzling lights, decorations and multi media video production; Sonshine Promotions is sure you will have an enjoyable, heartfelt time. Each evening will be packed with great gospel music and hilarious comedy.
Christian Entertainment The first night, we will invite 3 couples to the stage to participate in the ever so popular Not-So-Newlywed game. On the second, night Mr. Drama, Trevor Thomas, himself will present the Sonshine Variety Show with one-of-a-kind performances by your favorite groups. Also on this night before the concert, we will have an old fashion Tennessee barbeque served by the best dining room staff in the country, your performing artist. You will enjoy shredded barbeque, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and a very delicious dessert. On the last day we will all meet at the Black Bear Jamboree. It all starts with a huge, country feast. While dining, enjoy over 300 gorgeous costumes, impressive sets, beautiful dancers with well trained, amazing voices, and grrreat, big talking bears make your dinner experience in Pigeon Forge memorable!
After returning from the Black Bear Jamboree, the staff and cast will present a very touching Christmas program depicting the real reason for the season as well as more great southern gospel music. Also, on Tueday and Wednesday mornings there will be chapel services with dynamic guest speakers and more great music.
The Great Smoky Mountains
Pigeon Forge is the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains. During this time of year the town will be glistening with millions of Christmas lights and decorations. If you like to shop, Pigeon is home to hundreds of outlet and specialty shops.
This year, Mainstay Suites of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee will be hosting Christmas in the Smokies. Mainstay is a luxurious, modern upscale hotel with elegant furnishings and a feeling of home. The hotel is located just 2 blocks from the main tourist district of town. Each room at Mainstay is a suite, complete with a full kitchen. Also on the property is an indoor swimming pool and fitness room. If you don’t want to drive, the Pigeon Forge trolley makes regular stops in front of the hotel. They will take you almost anywhere in town for 50 cents.
Your price includes 3 nights accommodations, deluxe continental breakfast each morning, tickets to the Black Bear Jamboree with dinner and show, Tuesday night’s cookout and barbeque, tickets to all concerts and all taxes.
